I have got to say that this is definitely, the best anime I've seen, not just of 2014 but my entire damn life. The art style is eye candy, the dialog is memorable and THE FANSERVICE IS PLOT RELEVANT!.

Synapse: The protagonist, Ryota Murakami had a childhood friend who he called Kuroneko.  They always used to play together, Ryota loved Kuroneko, but one day they both fall off a dam after trying to find an alien, Murakami survives but Kuroneko died instantly, Murakami then searches for aliens in her place. But one day 10 years later, A transfer student appears and Murakami claims her to be Kuroneko, but she has a mysterious secret about her

CHaracters-
Ryota Murakami- The main protagonist of the show, Murakami is at the top of his class in his school, after Kuronekos death, he doesn't really interact with girls until Kuroha arrives

Kuroha Neko-The main heroine of the show. She starts as a really cold person towards Murakami but then starts caring for him afterwards

Kana- A paralysed flat chest who is the best friend to Kuroha, Kana was experimented on and thus was paralysed early in her life, she speaks through a keyboard and like Kuro, doesn't start off well with Murakami

Kazumi- A cheerful girl who likes to joke around. Althought Kazumi seems normal, she is able to hack into any system for some time, she doesn't have much of a relationship with Murakami at first, but she later starts making jokes which always seem to backfire by witty comebacks by Muakami

Kotori- A shy but caring Big oppai girl, Kotori, is the only one who gets along with Murakami when introduced, but she has something that she wants to keep a secret

There are other characters but these are just the main ones

While the show does tend to be serious most of the time, it does have some memorable and even hilarious
quotes
depending on your sense of humor, not only that but when you find out the truth, you can't help but feel sorry for the characters. It gets really emotional at times and at the same time, there is romance development going on when Murakami interacts with the girls (Especially Kuroha and Kazumi). The show also brings some good action into the mix is well. It keeps you on your seat and you want to know what happens next

Another reason I love Gokukoku no brynhildr is Murakami. He isn't your regular Whussy main character in a harem anime, he actually uses his brain to strategises on how to take down a foe or how to get a job done, he isn't always complaining how he's useless like Tskune Aono form Rosario Vampire. Murakami also tries his best to make sure the girls live a happy life, which causes romance development in the show

Like others, my main complaint about this show is the ending, I won't spoil it for you but it will make you say "What the fuck just happened". But don't let that stop you from watching the anime. Even with it's shitty ending, it is definatly one of the best animes I've seen

Overall, I rate this anime a 9/10, (The manga is still ongoing so go ahead and read that is well, it is updated every month with 2-3 chapters) There will also be an OVA released on the 24th September 2014. Hopefully around 2015-2016, we can hope there will be a second season

But I reccomend this anime to everyone who loves Supernatural, action and romance anime
